Urgent message : IChES2020 and SCEJ 85th Annual Meeting are cancelled
緊急速報：IChES2020および化学工学会第85年会 中止のお知らせ

It is very unfortunate to announce that IChES 2020 and the SCEJ 85th Annual Meeting, which are planned to be held at Kansai University, 15-17th, March 2020, are cancelled because of the concerns over the coronavirus (COVID-19).

・All events at the conference venue (oral and poster sessions, symposiums, ceremonies and so on) are cancelled.
・The abstracts will be open according to the original schedule. Registered participants will be able to view the abstracts on the web site. To discuss about the context of abstracts, the participants may directly contact the authors.
・The information needed to view the abstracts will be issued to the registered participants.
・We will certify that research presentations and publications are made at IChES, only within the scope of abstracts.
・Banquet is also cancelled. The fee will be fully refunded.
・As a general rule, registration fee will be refunded after deducting costs for administration and abstract publication etc.
・Details of refund schedule and procedure will be announced at a later date.

関西大学における本シンポジウムおよび化学工学会第85年会（3月15～17日開催予定）は コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の感染拡大の状況を踏まえて、以下のように対応させていただきます。

・口頭発表、ポスター発表、シンポジウム、表彰式などの会場での行事を行いません。
・講演要旨は予定通り公開いたします。参加登録者はウェブ上にて要旨の閲覧が可能です。これを利用して発表者と直接連絡してディスカッションが可能です。
・要旨を閲覧するための情報は、予定通り参加登録者にのみ発行します。
・要旨集記載の範囲においてのみ研究発表がなされたものとし、化学工学会第85年会での研究公表実績として認定します。
・懇親会も開催いたしません。懇親会費は全額返還いたします。
・原則として参加費は登録事務手数料や要旨集製作費等を差し引いて返金いたします。
・返金の手続き方法の詳細については後日お知らせいたします。

International Chemical Engineering Symposia 2020

15-17, March 2020, Kansai University, Osaka, Japan

Call for papers on general subjects of chemical engineering

We solicit oral presentaions on the general topics of chemical engineering, so as to promote networking of young chemical engineers in particular.

For those who wish to make a poster presentation, we recommend presentation at 85th Annual Meeting of SCEJ, which will be held at the same time.

If you are a student, you need to be a doctor course student to make an oral presentation at the symposia. This applies to all presenters, regardless of whether or not you are a member of AIChE, CIESC, DECHEMA, KIChE, TwIChE, and SCEJ.

Paper submission

To submit a paper, click on the button below to open the page for paper submission.

Note that on the application page, you need to :
    1. choose "General presentation" as Application Type,
    2. enter "IS-1" for 1st choice of Topics
    3. choose "Oral" as Style
as shown on the right to make a valid application.

The submission site will be closed on the 22nd of December, 2019. Please do not be late!

Manuscript submission

To make a presentation at IChES, a preprint manuscript must be submitted to the organizer by 15th of February, 2020, through the website of SCEJ annual meeting. The instruction on preparation and submission can be found on the following page.

The deadline of manuscript submission is 11:59pm of Saturday 15th, February 2020 (JST).

Presentation guidelines

For each presentation, 15 minutes will be alloted for speech, and 4 minutes for discussion.

Please bring your own PC for presentation. A PC projector will be at each presentation room.

Presentaion must be in English.
